Bill:
Here is the situation: This win2000pro computer has
LaserJet5 attached to it. It printed fine and I could
print from dos apps or from command prompt. I bought new
computer (xppro) and networked them together via wireless.
After doing that, the win200pro machine (printer still
attached) would not print out of dos apps or command
prompt, but prints fine out of any windows app. I can
print to this printer from the other machine (windows or
command prompt). I moved printer and attached to new xppro
machine and I could print from windows or command prompt
no problem. I tried deleting printer on win2000pro machine
and reinstalled to no avail. Hope this explains a little
better for you to try and help me further. Thanks in
advance!!!
