May be a joke to you guys, but did you know he donated thousands of new
computers, full software complement, and high speed connections to rural
libraries so people could become computer literate (which you may take
forgranted) and learn marketable skills. Our library system in eastern Oregon
was a recipient and patrons' response gratifying.
Aside from giving you a FrontPage discussion group in which to vent.
Just an observation.

He actually gives a LOT of money to several charitable causes every
year. And yes I know he has a lot he doesn't need but so do a lot of
other people who aren't nearly as generous.

Ah, now don't go calling him a troll. The joke didn't seem particularly
malicious to me. Not a very good joke, but not malicious either. Let's try
to assume the best about folks before we start scrapping.

Instead of thousands ... think in terms of millions and millions. When the
company pays out the $3.00 per share dividend in December he and Melinda
will donate their share to their foundation ... every penny of it ...
Billions!
