I don't think dual core CPUs will be too expensive but I doubt they will deliver much gameplay performance at first - in fact, i'm sure I read somewhere that dual cores could actually slow down performance in games until games are written specifically for them. Like any new technology for the PC, it's always best to wait a while after their release for any bugs to emerge and get ironed out. I'm still a little dubious about SLi - if I go down that route then i will have to change my mobo and vid, and buy a vid that I stand a good chance of being able to get an exact match for later on (which assumes they are still produced or I would have to get second hand) and even then, individual games require different driver setups so swapping between them can be a pian...and by the time i get all of that sorted out, there will probably be an alternative to SLi that's far more convenient and no more costly...ain't upgrading a pain!

Windows is now a 64 bit tweak of a 32 bit extension to a 16 bit user interface for an 8 bit operating system based on a 4 bit architecture from a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition...So why the hell have I bought Vista?...OK so Win 7 is pretty good now.

I got 2 questions for u Belloni:

1. Why u want to upgrade to SLi - haven't u got enough 3D marks?

2. How come u didn't guess my picture quiz when u have the MX1000 in ur sig?
