Good Evening All,
This is a long story but to make it short. On my system I
dual boot 2000(first partition on firt HD) pro and xp Pro
(1st partition on second HD) , I had mistakenly installed
PC Anywhere10 (which is not compat with XP Pro). I went
back to a restore point and it messed up my system file
(x:\windows\system32\config\system). So I then followed
the KB that said to copy the system file from the repair
folder. After doing this I was able to boot into XP but
started getting "Hard Errors" then all of a sudden got a
configuration problem (disk hardware configuration
problem) when I tried to boot into xp again. I can get
into 2000pro but now that does not see my second HD(g&h
partitions) at all. Do I need to fix my boot.ini file??
Any help would be greatly (despatately) appreciated.
Thanks for listening/reading. I welome personal responses
as well ((E-Mail Removed))
Regards.
Homer

Thanks for the reply. After letting the machine sit for a
day, I was able to launch the XP partition, but my system
is running very slow.( launchin word..etc) Expecially
when accessing the internet. Any ideas? Remember I am
using the system file from the repair folder. Thanks for
any help..
Regards,
Homer
