Bi-Directional Printing Problems

I have an Epson dot matrix printer that stopped printing
bi-directional when I installed Windows XP. I gotten the
latest drivers from Epson and nothing works. Prior to XP,
it worked just fine under Windows ME (which really
surprised me).

Anyone out there can help with this problem? I have to
have this style printer as I print multi-copy forms in my
office.
Any help is much appreciated.
