Better way to realize a media player

I don't know c#. I have just read something during the last days.

I'd like to realize a simple media player (full screen mode).

It should download file from a remote server and then play them
(loop).

I'm asking if embedding windows media player is a good solution or if
I need to look for other ways (embedding vlc etc).
