Getting rid of malicious cookie functionality? Microsoft,
why did you have to buy my absolute favorite product!

It is only disabled in the BETA version.At least that is
my understanding from reading the boards here.

I wouldn't lose hope about this, Bob. Microsoft has said publicly that
another beta release is likely, and that returning cookie scanning and
removal functionality is "under consideration" for that release.

Antispyware folks generally agree that cookies are a relatively minor part
of the problem, and one result of removing that functionality is to bring to
the fore the more important issues--executables.
