Currently using AntiSpyware Beta1. Recent Microsoft newsletter advised Beta2
was available for Download & Installation and recommended the user get and
install Beta2. Navigated to displayed Link, the Link advised Beta2 was for
Updating from previous Versions (site also read, Beta2 would automatically
remove previous AntiSpyware Beta Version)of this software, and the download
was for New Users as well. Clicked on Download Button.....under
Notifications on the Download page it read, Users of Beta1 will be Notified
individually when to download Beta2. This Bulletin/Download page is dated
2/13/06. These sites are contradictory....... Do Beta1 users download and
install Beta2 now,....or wait until Notified. Anyone know the answer....and
why?

You can do it either way. Eventually, existing users will be notified
through the program. Microsoft has said that they will post a notice in
..announcements here before they enable that notification.

A good many users have already downloaded --it will remove the version
currently in place, retaining some information--scan times, for example.
