I downloaded Beta back in mid January. Once I ran my
first scan, I deleted a needed registry key. Someone
from this support staff walked me through the fix and I
appreciate it. However, not that I can access the
internet again, I still cannot read any of the
attachments people send to me in my email. Not only
that, my hotmail account won't let me log off
properly...the screen just goes blank. Can you please
help me with this. Thank you.

Windows version? Type "winver" (no quotes) in your Run > Dialog box.

The first issue you had--did that involve loss of Internet connectivity?

Have you since then caught up, a bit, on security patches--perhaps even
putting in Service pack 2?

What happens with the attachments--do you get an error message indicating
that you are being prevented from accessing an attachment because it might
contain harmful content?

Do you use Outlook Express for email?

Are you using Outlook Express to read your Hotmail account?
