Hello does anyone know if Beta 2 will download automatically and update Beta
1 or will it be a .exe that has to be downloaded automatically and installed
manually?

No one is able to state this in public yet.

I would expect it to be a separate download, myself, though. I would not
recommend expecting it to be automatic, say, in the case of a large
installation of client machines.
