Wondering if anyone has suggestions for the best way to back up an
Outlook mailbox (on the local drive) for OL2007 where there is no
Exchange server, OL just being used to send/receive & save mail on a
hosted server & for calendar/schedule & contacts.

Also what file(s) would I want to back up in order to be sure I have all
the data including the calendaring & contacts?

Or would an export of some sort be a better bet? Archiving for the mail
or ???

Thanks.

Close Outlook and make a copy of your pst file.
To find where that is located, in outlook, right-click on Personal Folders
in the Folder view, choose properties, click on Advanced and the location
will reveal itself!

I can find the PST file OK, just wasn't sure if that was a recommended
way to go about it.

Thanks. New question, on new thread, although related!
