I've used Nero, Roxio (v5, v6, v7 and v8 - and v8 is by far the best)....
and PowerDirector and WinDVD Creator.
Haven't noticed much difference in any of them to be honest, I'd say
PowerDirector was the easiest editor... but it does insist on the user
creating menus and I rarely need them. Menus annoy me, so I tend to create
the file in PD or WinDVD Creator and then either burn with WinDVD Creator or
Roxio. I'm not particularly keen on VideoWave or NeroVision.
If I'm going to be making a lot of copies of a certain production, I tend to
create it in PowerDirector, make the Video Folders in WinDVD and then burn
(in this case it would be 'disk copy' in roxio speak) with Roxio. I know
it's a three way process, but I do find that I get the best results that
way.
Once I have the Video Folders on the hard drive, I have three PCs with
burners so it's a case of running round the house, burning DVDs from the
same folder over the network on each PC that has the burner.
