I don't think too much of "registry cleaners" (especially automated
ones) They often can do more harm than good. But in that catagory I
think jv16 Power Tools is very good. Shareware. Potentialy (like
all others) dangerous.
Stability of the NTx OSs often is much more dependent on Drivers,
Hardware and Programs (especially malware) than any registry left-
overs. YMMV
Teach yourself how to fully backup the registry from time to time via
ntbackup or possibly ERUNT.
