I have used Whisper32 and Any Password.

Can anyone recommend any other software for keeping passwords?

Well, I've never used it myself yet, but take a look at Oubliette:

http://www.tranglos.com/free/oubliette.html

If it's of similar quality as Keynote (from the same developer),
then it should be an *excellent* program.

I use PINs, open source and small enough to carry and run on a floppy
disk.

PINs, Secure Password Manager.

I'm using PassPack 1.00 from:
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~nulif...ezip/freeware/

It's a 15kB (!) download. Very simple, but has still a nice feature to copy
Passwords and Logins to the clipboard by using the F-keys.

Needs no install and can be put on floppy or USB-stick...

But if you need more features I would try the other recommendings in this
thread. ;-)

Greetings
jes

====== I recommend " PassKeeper " because it's small , encrypted ,
password protected , and no install , you can also have more then one
PassWord program on one computer (just put in different folders -for
different users)or you can even put it on a floppy ........

serial numbers for purchased software, passwords for websites, etc. etc.

While we're at it, what's the purpose of the "Email" field in the
account settings?

Thanks in advance,
Wald

I mainly use it in two cases:

..) if it is part of an 'login/passwd' or registration
or
..) if it's somehow beside that related with the account (i.e. for a contact
if the account is for software serials, or a website)

If it's important and/or makes sense for the account, I use it.

It's primary up to the user if fields are filled or not.

I'll just add to the chorus. Oubliette is excellent.
