Wrong answer. Right one is still Newegg, at least for homebuilt
computers. Retailers don't listen to you and suggest a custom-built
system. Not without mark-ups, higher resale values, assembly and
ancillary charges. Today I sent Newegg back a DVD-writer for similar
exchange, within a year warranty coverage for the unit. Don't try
that on a complete system without a lot reading fine print. The day
before today, on a 10lb. pound modeling amplifier, it cost me $30 to
return what the retailer spent $12 to ship me UPS. Newegg covered all
that, too. Learning this stuff, in other words, does offer
advantages.
