Aside from MS site, which is the best site for ADO on the web? Actually,
which is considered th ebest (biggest) for dot net in general?

I do not think there is something that keeps everything in one place. I
believe the best way is just to search Microsoft's Knowledge Base or Google.
There are so many sources for .NET these days, that searching using Google
usually gives several links you could choose from

Sure, thanks Val. I guess I kind of guessed that. With Java (as an ex Java
developer) it seemed to be JavaRanch and TheServerSide.com where the biggest
and most reputable. (Aside rfom Suns own Java.net))

Is gotdotnet.com pretty much the most popular one for all things .NET-ish?
Seems to be.

Also, which is the most popular off line magazine - I have tried a couple of
editions of CODE magazine and found it to be rather full of basic and
beginner like articles. Is there a better one for more intermediate to
advanced deevlopers?

Thanks again.

Worzel,

In addition to Val, and your answer.

I never found a more complete documentation system on Internet than MSDN
about Net.

However I think that behind that, this is the best link for information
about AdoNet.
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...amework.adonet

Be aware that ADO and ADONET are two different things, that is probably the
reason that you got first so few replies. Now that you say Net in your reply
it becomes clear.

I hope this helps,

Cor

I would say that offline staff is loosing their ground right now because
most of staff is available online and it is free. Some time ago Visual
Studio/Visual Basic Magazine was pretty good
