Hi all. I have just bought the ATI Radeon x1650pro 512mb card and am looking to get a tft monitor for it aswell. The more HD the better.

It's a minefield out there though! I've been looking at 22" monitors but their displays are 1650x1050 and this format isn't supported by the x1650pro.

I'm going to be using it mainly for manipulating photos and creating digital images, maybe some movie making next year. So what is the best monitor to buy?

I don't see why you can't run your monitor at 1680x1050 (is that the resolution you meant)?

I would be extremely surprised if that card can't run a 22" monitor, In fact I'm 99.99% sure it can

I have an LG L226WTQ 22" which I love

1680x1050 - thats the one!

Am confused, as looking at the resolution settings on the card it doesn't state 1680x1050. So does that mean that the screen won't be filled completely?

Have to agree that your monitor looks yummy.

The maximum resolution for that card appears to be 2560 x 1600, so you should be fine
