what is your favourite British Comedy Sitcom?



I must say im a MASSSIVE Only Fools and Horses Fan!!!
initialy broadcast in 1981 long long time ago i must say its my number1 programe of all time!!

along with this i must also include:

Fawlty Towers
Some Mothers Do 'av Em


id say these are up there for me aswelll

itll be nice to know ur thoughts....

Much the same as yourself, really, though I'd say Fawlty Towers first place - a timeless classic, imo.

Only Fools and Horses had it's moments as well, despite the regular pathos, there were a lot of genuinely funny moments in there.

That episode where Del leans on the bar flap that ain't there - priceless I nearly ****** myself laughing over that small scene

I know it weren't a comedy, but Minder had a helluva lot of funny lines in it as well.

and it had to be Trigger out of all people that was there too!

I liked Blackadder when it was on, haven't seen any episodes in ages though!

Love Faulty Towers defiantly the number 1, but just have to mention The Vicar of Dibley. Love that show and love Jim.

Also love anything to do with French & Saunders, anything they do is funny. Great British Comedy
