1. MSAS
2. ?
3. ?

I know about Adaware and Spybot, but I'm curious if other people have ideas
on other tools that work well. Or, Are Adaware and Spybot still the best
around after MSAS?

Remember, these tools should cost $0, because if you pay for spyware
removal, chances are you just paid the person who put the spyware on your
computer in the first place, and that's no good.

I do a good deal of spyware removal work for different employers, so this is
mostly professional curiosity.

Adaware and spybot is about the only free antispyware products you can
get. Here is 2 others http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ and
http://www.ewido.net/en/. Dont think they will detect and remove all the
stuff spybot and adaware will though. Dont hurt to use them though. They
detect and remove stuff that spybot and adaware cant detect and remove.
After them 2 I know of nothing that is free unless you want to count
antivirus that says they detect spyware like avast and avg.
