Belking USB hub problems

I am using a Belkin 4 port USB hub on a brand new laptop,
running XP Home. All the devices attached work fine, but
if I remove one or shut one down (a printer, a digital
camera...), I get a quick "semi blue screen of death" and
then my machine reboots. Anyone have any ideas or seen
this before?

Thanks,
Jeff

Once a USB device is connected, there should be a Safely Remove Hardware
icon appear in the System Tray (bottom right)...... click on this and STOP
the device before removing!

You may also want to disable automatically restart in
properties of my computer\advanced\startup and recovery
This will make the computer stop at the blue screen
instead of restarting. The stop error on the blue screen
could be key in resolving the issue.
