I have a belkin wireless network card and it seems to
work fine but i get an annoying information bubble that
pops up from the task bar saying "no signal" the " full
signal" and so on. the bubble will just keep popping up
while im online. does anyone have any suggestions or how
to turn off the information bubble itself

Thanks

I beleive the bubbles that you are receiving are the
balloon tips in Windows XP. You can easily turn them off
with TweakUI or click Start, Run, and type "regedit"
(without quotes) and click Ok or press ENTER.

Navigate to the following subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Explorer\Advanced

1. Right-click the right pane, create a new DWORD value,
and then name it EnableBalloonTips.
2. Double-click this new entry, and then give it a
hexadecimal value of 0.
3. Quit Registry Editor. Log off Windows, and then log
back on.
