Belkin USB 4 port hub

I have a bluetooth adapter and webcam connected to my PC via a USB hub.
Every now and again though the hub seems to disconnect and then reconnect
shortly after. (I can hear the default XP sound that occurs when a USB
device is disconnected or connected).

Are all hubs prone to this type of behaviour?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks,

RAH

Most hubs behave correctly. I had a problem with a Belkin and e-mailed
their customer service (off their website) and they had me return the
hub (at my expense) and they replaced it with a brand new one (still
in the blister pack).

Hello RAH,

Thank you for posting here.

I understand that you have two devices (bluetooth adapter and webcam)
connected to a USB hub.
Based on my experience, this issue can occur if Bluetooth device is
detected and installed or is not detected which is then leads to uninstall.

To troubleshoot this issue, you could unplug the webcam and usb hub,
connect the bluetooth adapter to the PC directly to check if the same issue
occur.
However it seems that it is related with hardware.
I hope this information proves helpful to you.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me
know.

Thanks and regards,
Alex Zhang
