Belkin Network Problem

Hi,

I really need some help with this so if anyone can help
then I would appreciate it. I have just bought a belkin
wireless network card 54g for my student house as there is
a router which we are all using. But after installing the
software okay on my xp system I then tried installing the
hardware. Halfway through the screen went and then a
message came up on a blue screen saying that there was a
hardware malfunction and a nmiarity check and the system
has halted. I now have to take the card out if I want to
turn the computer on without seeing this bloody blue
screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no
success. I really need some help cause I'm at a loose end.
