Ive been trying to subscribe to things like msn chats and filling out the
credit card info page but it is always coming back to me as req fields
missing the numbr sec code on back of card etc even though filled all those
fields out. Ive been searching high and low for where do I change my sec
settings on my laptop to allow my card
info to be sent out, because i know in the future I will want to participate
in e-bay and things like that Please help is there a place where there is
a auto form fill
and a way to modify my sec so I can purchase things online?
Thanks-
Cousin tom-

We gotta start somewhere

I do not believe this has anything to do with settings on your computer - as
long as you are using a current version of Internet Explorer or Firefox or
Netscape (whatever) - there is no setting I know of that would do what you
are describing.. Perhaps a third party application (some "internet security"
application like McAfee or Norton, etc) - but nothing that didn't have your
hand in it already.

yes I know and I feel silly about that because I came across a fill in form
at one point that asked me all those questions and I chose to secure it and I
cant remember where it was and Im the only one in my house and the only one
using my computer
lol how embarassing-
we all gotta start somewhere

I don't know if this will help for sure by start by clearing your temporary
internet files in tools/internet options and select delete files and then
delete cookies. Then go to tools/internet options/content and select clear
SSL state. Then under tools/internet options/security add the website you
are trying to do this in into your "trusted" web content zone assuming you
do trust it which you should if you are giving credit card information. If
none of that helps try logging on as another user, ideally a newly created
user so that you would start with a fresh user profile with default settings
[hopefully] . --- Steve

using Web Content Zones.
