As a general question. i have a an excel spreadsheet with a pivot
table style chart that is not actually a pivot table. On the left side
is a list of groups with information about the groups trailing to the
right. Each column has data related to the group, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, is there a way that i can create an action so that when i
double clicked on the group, a new tab would be created with
information that is not the same information already in my chart? I
know that the pivot table allows me to click a cell in the data area
and bring back the detail behind the cell, but the data i want to bring
back is not the same that created the cell value. Any suggestions.

Dear JG:

As of the current release of Excel 2003, non of the Pivot table graphic
objects allow you to be able to create a clicking Map that will allow
you to determine which item in the pivot table was clicked so that you
could do a lookup and open another sheet based on that click.
