I am trying to use text on status bar. I go in behaviors, and click insert,
set text then use mouse move, but when I down load it and then look at our
site using IE 7 it doesn’t show up. What am I doing wrong or does it not work.

I don't think IE7 supports that. Most modern browsers do not.

The status bar is a good indication of where the link you are hovering will
take you. By messing with the status bar, you remove that capability. From
a usability point of view, it's a bad idea....
