I would like to establish a network between my Dell 8200 running XP Home
with an Ethernet card to a Dell Dimension xps r 450 running MS Millenium
and no Ethernet card.

Would it be better if I upgraded MS Millenium to XP home?

I would like to use the Siemens Speed stream equipment.

How do I utilize the 8200 ethernet with the Seimens stuff?

You need a NIC (an Ethernet card) for the ME PC. Then you need
to tie those two NICs together: a crossover LAN cable will do,
or a hub/switch/router with a pair of standard LAN cables; a
crossover cable is, effectively, a passive hub.

No need to upgrade the ME PC to XP; ME and XP can network with
each other just fine.
