i'm using virgin.net broadband ISP, and have just installed a toshiba
WBG-1200A router-modem along with a belkin network card. (i was formerly
using a speedtouch usb frog modem)

i completed the web browser based config for the router (using some values
from virgin.nets webpage - in fact by coincidence i used the same settings
as given on the "settings for BT" addendum sheet, except for DNS Relay
Enable), managed to get all the lights lit (power, ethernet port link 1 is
established, wireless lan enabled, adsl link is established)... all looks
good, it says "connected" in the connection status screen of the web config,
so i should be able to view web pages.... but i can't! just get the standard
"cannot access page" error as if i'm not connected at all....

how can i troubleshoot this issue (this is my first ever home networking
attempt, just tried to follow the step-by-step guide, haven't even got to
the linking 2 pcs part yet!)?
