Beeping during game play

I have noticed when I play AOE 3 or RYL, my computer makes frequent loud
beeps. I do not know if it does it on other programs, those are the only
ones I really play. As soon as I exit the game, it stops. I thought maybe
it was onboard audio or something, but I do not seem to be able to find a way
to stop it. The beeps are not in a pattern or anything, they are often
overlapping, and very random seeming to me. Plus, if the game is just
loading or something, it wont make the beeps.

Is it coming out of the speakers or the actual computer?

If the beep is coming from the main computer box, then you might be
experiencing enormous high temperatures during the games and this might be a
"over-heat" warning beep.

Try taking the side of the computer off, its quite common for computers to
have a warning beep if the temperature gets over a certain level. Taking
the side off should confirm if that is the cause or not.

Let us know what happens then and we should be able to work out if it is
really a problem, and if not to shut the thing up. 8-)

Somewhere on your computer, there should be a "read me" in which you can read
all the latest updates for the game, and the comouter. if that does not help,
try contacting tech support.

My MB (Epox) makes a 2-tone 'siren' reminiscent of a Eurpoean police
siren shown in older movies when it gets too hot. I open up the case,
squirt some canned air to remove the dust and its all better. Short
term solution, I know - but it works
