My Xp computer beeps exactly once every minute. It is the same sound made when you try to do something illegal in a game. I have
checked the task manager, but it shows no applications running. How do you fix this when there is no error message to help?

Is it coming from the speakers or from inside the computer?

As a method to find the problem, I would turn off all sounds and then turn
on one at a time till I found the problem.
In control panel---sounds---what if anything do you have set?
