I have tried publishing my site in FP 2003 but it hangs at the copying
stage. I am confused as to what to enter in the various boxes. i.e.. FTP
server etc.

A check using http://www.georgebunn.pwp.blueyonder.../_vti_inf.html shows your site / host does not have the FrontPage Server
Extensions so you must select the FTP option
Contact your host for the FTP location, or try entering the http location as
http://www.georgebunn.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

(FP should convert it to a ftp address if the host has the site set up correctly)
