On trying to import an ACT 6 database into BCM, it crashes and creates the
file 'bcm_customer.log' with the following:
"Type,Message,FieldInError,Data
Iris Activity,This is catch-all for all incorrect parameters passed to
stored procs,ParentGUID2,SRH - Joint meeting to introduce Sean to Dale, Ian
and Sam plus hand over of site survey details. Quote for tank level
transmitters looks positive once they have the budget cleared. SAP is helping
the cause for better level monitoring. Order in 2 to 6 mon-2005-05-11
15:52:34.000-David Price
,IRIS:1001 EntryGuid,,
Contact,,,Internal Error
Contact,un-recoverable error when processing XML strings from IM ,,Internal
Error"

It doesn't appear to be able to process the import data, in this case notes
from a customer record - any ideas anyone?

Interesting. There's a ParentGUID in their database, but no
ParentGUID2. "IRIS:1001" is an error returned by dozens of stored procs
in the database.

You could try sending me the chunk of XML (ie. the activity node) in
the BCM file with this joint meeting, and I'll see if there's anything
that stands out.

In any case, BCM shouldn't crash, so be sure to report this one to
Microsoft directly; e.g. send them the Watson report from the crash.

Thanks Luther. Problem is that no BCM data was created at all! Can you tell
me where to find the Watson report to send to MS? Sorry, no techie here...!

Are you using BCM version 1 or 2?
