I'm trying to uninstall Business Contact Manager because it will not let me create a new, or use a pre-existing database. Using the add/remove programs and using the companion CD to uninstall, I keep getting an error message "An error has occurred while removing the SQL Active Directory Helper Service." I looked for the same problem in the forums and it tells me I may need to uninstall the MSDE portion "Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MICROSOFTSMLBIZ)", but this is not found anywhere. While trying to just reinstall it gives an error saying it failed and cannot continue. Can't use BCM, can't reinstall, can't uninstall, I've tried un/reinstalling the entire office Suite and still nothing. ??? I'm perplexed guys, can anyone help?
