BCM Tasks in To Do Bar

For some reason when I create a task that is linked to a project it does not
appear in my to do bar.

If I arrange my to do bar by due date, then sometimes the BCM tasks will
appear, but not always.

I like to view my to do bar by categories and when I change to that view,
the BCM tasks (or at least some of them) do not appear in the to do bar.

Please let me know if have a resolution.
