ich plane für unser kleines Büro den BCM auf einem Server zu
installieren. Da wir noch kein Exchange im Einsatz haben ist die
Frage, ob es auch ohne geht bzw. ob es eine Alternative wie Public
Shared Folders es auch tun würde.

You don't need exchange for BCM. As you will be using a german version of
BCM (I presume) you will need one of the BCM pc's (or a dedicated pc, which
will cost you an extra licence) to be always on to share the BCM database to
other clients.
PS: You can not install a german version of BCM on th esame poc as on which
Exchaneg is running, as for installing BCM you will need to install outlook.
It is not recommended toi install outlook and Exchaneg on the same pc.
