BCM will not launch

I just purchased a new Dell D610 Notebook and have been trying to load BCM
for the last 8 hours.

I initially had a "memory corrupt" error message so I reloaded .net and
Outlook2003 and BCM and now the BCM application will not launch.

When I do a Help About Outlook and go to System Info and Software it shows
two identical BCM entries as Outlook ADD-INs.

I have also tried running using msconfig with all optional services turned
off. The problem does not seem to be due to a conflict.

Any help would be much appreciated. . .

Hi

Are you seeing any errors? What happens when you launch Outlook? Does it
hang or crash?

Larry - there are no error messages - the BCM application just does not
launch - ie, no Business Tools menu item after Outlook is started ...

What happens if you go to go to Help > About Microsoft Office Outlook
Click on Disabled Items and enable BCM if present

Go to Help in Outlook and download updates from MS site including BCM
update.

It should now ask you to set up the database and away you go.

I downloaded the office updates first but this did not fix the problem.

I next went to the help menu and enabled BCM as instructed. I was then
asked if I wanted to create a new database or use an exising - I chose use an
existing and immediately received the following fatal error message (I had to
uninstall BCM in order to get Outlook 2003 started again):

EventType : bcm P1 : mapi P2 : argumentoutofrangeexception
P3 : 1.0.2002.8 P4 : 11.0.8010 P5 : logonmanaged
P6 : deserializeproperties P7 : 3b47176e

Hi

The error message that you stated has to do with .net Frame removing all
version of the same and reinstall .net should take care of it
