**Cross Posted to the Outlook Installation Group**

I'm having a hell of a time installing BCM, and I can't get any good info on
the problem out of the logs. Machine in question is a clean install of Vista
Business and the hardware more than meets specs. I install Office Ent. 2007
with no problem. I pop in the second disc to install BCM and that's where
things start to go south.

The SQL instance goes in with no problem, and as suggested in some docs I
did a standalone install of SQL Express to validate that the pc has no issues
with SQL. During BCM install, the SQL portion completes with no issues. I
don't think it's SQL.

Shortly after the SQL install finishes, the whole install fails with no
error, simply a path to the log file. I tried verbose logging of the install,
and it says on one line "Installation failed" and then on the next line it
says "Installation completed". I've scoured the log files and can find no
immediately discernable cause for the failure.

Log files are available for sending or download upon request.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for
your time.
