windows 7 64bit

I purchased outlook 2007 with BCM and outlook installed fine, but not BCM.
When i ran the setup agin it tried to install BCM but fails. error: Setup
failed to install business contact manager for outlook 2007. a log file was
created and gives the file location.
The log file text is at the bottom if you want to take a look at it. So i
uninstall outlook, sql server 2005 express and all related. install Sql
express 2005 and verified that it is up and running, then install outlook
with bcm again. same exact result.

Tried again with Sql Express 2008 and sp1 but same results

it does create the MSSMLBIZ server and database but that's it.

Hello David

Can you share a copy of the MSSsetup.log from the %temp% folder ?

Also can I get you to delete the “Business solutions Ecrm” entries at the
following two locations…

Hkey_Local_Machine \ Software \ WOW6432Node \ Microsoft

Hkey_Current_User \ Software \ WOW6432Node \ Microsoft

and re-run the setup

I've hadthe same problems installing BCM for Office 2007 on Windows 7. I need
more concrete steps on what to do from here.
Uninstall Office? Outlook? All SQL 2005 programs? Remove registry keys?
Which ones?

I need step by steps not piecemeal information!!!

Hi Michael

I guess you need to be more description of the error , only than can
someone help you

If the installation is failing , is it failing on the Business contact
manager or the SQL part ?

What version of windows are we trying to install the application on 32 or 64
?
