BCM as default address book

's Computer Specifications

Is there a way to make the BCM my default address book, so when I look
up contacts, add new contacts and have dealings with new contacts it
automatically defaults to my BCM contacts?

Right now all roads lead to the regular outlook contacts folder, which
I am trying to get away from and become BCM only.

That is easy. in Outlook open "tools" then "Address Book". Then again in
the Address book open "tools" then options. Here you can set the defaults to
meet your needs.
