BCM 2010 - Duplicate Outlook Contacts

I have installed BCM 2010 on Windows 7. I have successfully shared my DB and
have full access from my laptop, which is nice. (Like many of you, I am
bewildered by the fact I cannot yet sync my Blackberry, but I digress...)

My problem is the way I am individually transferring records to BCM, and
then marking them for synchronization, is causing duplicate entries to be
created in my Outlook Contacts. Should this be happening? I suspect my daily
process is flawed.

Should I import all by Outlook Contacts, business and personal, to BCM?
Should I mark them for Business Contact Synchronization?

Any suggestions on ways to perform synchronization, enter new contacts/leads
and work with BCM on a daily basis are welcome.

If you don't mind spending a bit of money, you could try
http://www.companionlink.com/product...nlink-bcm.html for
syncing to
your blackberry. I don't know if it works well, as I have never tried
it
myself, but it looks very promising.

Your best bet is to enter all new contacts as BCM contacts, as its
very easy
to sync them to normal outlook contacts. I'm not sure about your old
information, as I am not sure where and how you are transfering them.
