Please offer suggestions for speeding up BCM. It is terribly slow. I gather
there are some updates? or suggestions? I either fall asleep or Outlook
crashes often before I can process data or send/receive email not that I am
using BCM.

Disabling notifications of events and appointments may help stop or delay the
crashes you've been seeing. I found that even though I installed Office 2007
& BCM after ACT, that ACT was an Add On to Outlook. I removed/disabled it and
it helped tremendously. Check to see if you have any add ons as they are
potential culprets.

Also, the search function from Desktop Search is nice, but all that indexing
chews up memory and CPU time. You may want to experiment with disabling or
uninstalling it (after careful backup of your data)

If your Outlook is unstable and you have valuable files and emails, then I
highly reccomend using a good backup application for Outlook.

Thank you. As far as I can see ACT! is not in the addon list. I will double
check that. Yes the indexing is an awful waste. I think I have it disabled as
I don't see it "active" in the tray, but I forgot how I did it. Things are
speeding up some!
