Once I set email to auto link, I now have a set of History in BCM for a given
Contact which is not the same as the history that is associated with my
contact that was developed in Outlook. For some reason, emails will link
with a contact in Outlook Contact, but not to the same contact in BCM Contacts

The two programs use different history mechanisms. Do you have the automatic
email tracking feature turned on in BCM?

If that is the case, then I do Have automatic email tracking feature in BCM
turned on. What else could be causing BCM not to have all Email tracking/
History attached to BCM contacts?

Is there a spot to set BCM Contacts as primary instead of Outlook?

(thank you for your fast responces today!)

That's all you need to do. Note, however, that the automatic tracking
affects only messages that you send after you turn it on. For earlier
messages, there's another command on that menu to search past messages.

Define what you mean by "primary."

When I look at address book, I see two instances of BC Account and BC
Contact. This may be why my history is not linking. Where can I find the
file that would show which version to get ridge of. Automatic tracking is
not collecting emails to BC contact that have been sent after turning
tracking on.

The address book display is unrelated. The easiest way to fix it is to use
Tools | E-mail Accounts to remove the Outlook Address Book service, then
restart Outlook and add it back.

How can I tell which vesion to remove, per your last reply? Under Microsoft
Office Address Book, I have two versions:

Accounts: Business Contact Manager
Accounts: Business Contact Manager
Business Contact: Business Contact Manager
Business Contact: Business Contact Manager

Is there a file/ location that I can look to see why I have two instances?
Once again thank you for your help today.
