in the toolbar at the bottom right corner of the screen the battery
icon is missing, iv tried all the usaul to try and get it back but
still no luck any sugestions would be Appreciated.

What's the manufacturer & model of the unit?
W/ a lot of laptops, you can go into Control Panel > Power Options,
then look around for the configuration for having power meter icon
always appear in the notification tray.

thanks for the reply, the model of the laptop is acer aspire 3003wlmi.
iv tried going into control, power options and selecting always show
icon on desktop
still no luck.
is it a startup bug or something?

Did you get your missing-battery-icon problem solved? Have you tried
Googling something like " "battery icon" missing " (w/out the first &
last quotes)?

but the problem seems to have sorted its self out it comes up now all
the time, funny thing windows is init.
