I have two computers running on port? 7? Motherboards.
They both boot without a battery and say that there is a
power error and press any key to continue...they don't
continue. If the battery is in they boot through the BIOS
and then get stuck just before loading drives, the screen
displays a bizarre compact version of the system's stats
ie. amount of RAM etc. The computers were working fine
before the batteries went flat and even with new batteries
in they do not work....Please help we are beyond really
stuck.

If you did not save your settings from when it was working then they are
lost. You will have to go into you bios and start with the defult settings,
they should work and then reasonably bump the system up to only what you
know.
