Does anyone have a good batch script to automatically backup your Windows XP
user profile settings?

The wizzard that comes with ntbackup.exe will do it for you.

If you mean the registry, Erunt will do this.

Although, there can also be settings in the "Application Data" folder.

Cobian Backup is quite a good solution for full-userprofile backups.

You cannot backup the registry in any straightforward way from a batch
script, since the files are held open all the time. It is possible with a
complex script that invokes shadow copy.
