Is there a way to resize a bunch of photos at the same time instead of one
at a time?

Thanks

sure. for instance adobe photosop can do this for you. Not only size but any
adjustment in the picture quality. Like levels or sharpness or hue. Just
record all the actions you take on the first piture and then use automatic
batch processing. It will do all the actions you recorded on an entire batch.
NOw there is even an ask me option so that it will stop at evry picture to
ask for your ok.

I guess Ulead have something similar.

Good luck.

I don't have Photoshop or Ulead. Any other programs that will do it? I
have Microsoft Image Pro but it doesn't do it.

Thanks

Sorry I have no idea. Since I got Photoshop job is done. Photoshop is the
most professional tool you can find around. There is an LE version I guess is
free. you can also find an arlier version like 7 or 6. this not a new feature
I mean.

=================================
This is very simple to do if you download
and install the following free WinXP PowerToy:

Go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

http://tinyurl.com/36n

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures from the menu. You
can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.
(Tip: *Never* overwrite your originals)

as this is a somewhat related group to the MS digital image programs,
we might also suggest that DIP 10 and likely others have a batch
resizer built into the program. I assume that you are using some form
of digital image program and maybe it has the function too but
certainly if you don't have one now, DIP 10 can be obtained very
inexpensively via EBay or you could use the trial version of Digital
Image Pro 2006 from MS. Have not looked recently to see what the suite
for it is going for. Not sure if an newer version is being offered
either. Very good digital imaging program though.

Also, a googly would have provided a lot of info re batch resizing
including a well known one called Mihov Batch Resizer.

hope you find something that does the trick.
