Hi,
I'm going to venture in a home wireless network using a laptop and a
couple of desktop comps. I have some knowledge with routers and
sharing an Internet connection but have never tried sharing resources.
What I need is some links to FAQ's or HowTo's for smart and secure
setup of everything involved. I realize there are lots of things to
configure, from the wireless WPA to XP's file and printer sharing.
I'll be wanting to do things such as multimedia streaming, sharing
email databases between laptop and desktop, VoIP, VPN tunneling and
others. All in due time, of course, but I want to get a good base
prepared.
I'll come back here when I run into trouble :-)
