In a lot of cases, you can simply drag them onto the message, and you'll see
the attachment list appear.

You do have to give some consideration to what you are atttaching, its size,
and the destination.

For example, many mail systems block mail that has .exe or .zip attachments,
as these are too commonly malware attacks.

It's less of a problem now with the drop in storage costs, but many people
can't receive large attachments. And if you fill someone's mailbox, they
won't be able to get any more mail, and they may not thank you.
