To fix this problem you just need to uninstall the software and reinstall it back if you dont have a Cd of PeoplePC you can get a copy under staples, office max and circuit city.
If you have already a manual connection or temp connection try to connect using manual connection and go this website halo.peoplepc.com/ppcreset and then after downloading it go to getsoftware.peoplepc.com to redownload the software.
