Greetings,

At my rural camp, I have a Wilson cell signal booster, and when I walk toward
it with cell phone in hand, I can see the bars go up as I get closer to the
internal antenna. I have a laptop with an AT&T card(cell phone is ATT
also)which should be helped by the booster. However, how do I tell if and
when, and how much it is boosting the signal? Is there something equivalent
to bars like on the phone?
all I seem to get is the status...ie ..speed-237k,signal strength-very
good.etc. I would like to be able to position the laptop for max
performance.

Thanks,

Have you considered AT&T's support, FAQs, forums (if any), or manuals?

I have looked around quite a bit on this. I'll have to revisit some of the
posts I have made, I can't seem to get an answer. I'll keep trying. Thanks
for your response.

That is exactly why I'm suggesting you go to the source, namely AT&T.
